Half-Day Camp (typically 9AM - 12PM).

Join us for a week of fun with amazing robots! In this full week of half-days, learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red-hot robots. Experiment with sound sensing robots, line-tracking robots, solar powered robots and robots that can even be programmed! Discover the science of circuits and how robots use their components to explore and react to what is around them. Use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home with you!

Additional Information

Energy Burst
Get ready for a Shocking day with these Electrifying experiments! Test conductors and insulators, build a large model circuit board, and see plasma power. See some High Voltage with an experiment from Tesla! Campers take home a "Mad Science Circuit Maze".
Laser Light
Campers will revisit sensors in a “Different Light”. Uncover the hidden mysteries of white light, the extraordinary properties of lasers, and explore fiber optics and holograms! Complete final stages of robot building and take home a "Wired World".
Make It Move
Campers will learn about robot design as well as the applications of robot technology. Create a blueprint for a futuristic Robot Design. Final tests will be performed on the completed robots, and each child will take their robot home!
Pulleys and Gears
Have you ever wondered how something works? Reverse Engineering will help us discover the principals at work through analysis of structure, function and operation. Campers will explore the forces and continue building the robots.
Robots 101
The fundamentals of robotics will be reviewed, including robot anatomy and discovering how each components works. Introduce Engineers and their importance in our everyday lives. Study Simple Machines and build a "Mad Science Catapult".
