The event includes a vacuum demonstration utilizing chemical change, then takes a twist when we learn about vortexes and levitation. Students are amazed by sizzling, shivering metals and special bubbly showers with dry ice experiments, finishing off with a giant fog cascade.
Sounds Like Science
Kids get tuned in to learning with exciting demonstrations and experiments, including the surprisingly loud dinosaur-in-a-can, howling tube, and a kid created sound story!
Spin, Pop, Boom
The audience is amazed by chemistry when the Mad Scientist mixes up experiments with lots of volunteers. The children are enthralled by melting cups, stretchy polymers, magic genies, and exploding foam. Fun for all ages, leaving everyone wanting more!
Marvels of Motion
In this high energy event, children see Newton’s three laws of motion in action. They try exciting experiments, compete in crazy competitions, and learn the physics behind some of their favorite sports.
Bubbles & Air (Pre-K)
Get ready for some sizzling excitement! Help our friend Eggbert solve a problem utilizing vacuums. Then, cool off with spectacular demonstrations involving dry ice! Check out the “Big Burp”, the “Screwdriver Sizzle” and the famous “Mad Science Bubble Bath”, as we will explore the science behind this amazing frozen gas.
Super Science Sounds (Pre-K)
Are you ready to Shake, Rattle and Vibrate!? We will teach your little ones how all sound is made through vibration. Hear how a little science and a spark of imagination can turn an ordinary cup into a clucking chicken! While we are at it, why not include the whole zoo and maybe a prehistoric friend. Preschoolers will be amazed as we turn the room into an indoor Rainforest of sounds.
Air, Air, Everywhere! (Pre-K)
In “Air, Air Everywhere” we are going to introduce your preschoolers to a friend they hang out with every day but have never officially met, Air! Using air pressure, we will demonstrate how planes fly and take a "plunge" into suction. Finally, a few lucky helpers will take a trip around the room on the Mad Science Hovercraft. By the time we're done your little ones will be blown away!
