Academy of Future Space Explorers (NASA)
(Grades 1-5)
Discover the frontiers of space with this hands-on camp! Campers explore our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! Comets, planets, stars and more are all waiting to be discovered. Learn about the four forces of flight, the challenges of space travel, and participate in a rocket launch!

Brixology
(Grades 2-6)
Using LEGO® bricks, kids build a different engineering-themed project in each class. They explore different engineering fields, including mechanical, structural, aerospace, nautical, and bioengineering. They use critical thinking, and creative problem-solving to test and improve their creations.

Ready to Robot
(Grades 2-5)
Children will learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red-hot robots. They discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. They build their very own working robot to take home with them!

Robot Engineers
(Grades 3-6)
Join us for a week of fun with amazing robots! In this full-day camp learn about the uses of robots in our world, discover the science of circuits and how robots use their components to explore and react to what is around them. Use your skills to build your very own working robot that you will take home at the end of the week!

Motion Madness
(Grades 1-5)
Science and engineering go hand-in-hand as our campers discover what machines and nature have in common. Campers will build various structures like bridges and domes, and run a crazy obstacle course with the help of simple machines. Learn the Fun-damental Forces that affect motion. Check out motion on the Molecular level and see how motion pictures work.

Crazy Chemworks
(Grades 2-6)
Campers will learn real lab techniques and safety procedures, and use these throughout the week to mix crazy concoctions and chemical combinations. Experiment with super-sticky-stuff, explore glow-in-the-dark technology, mix potions, make slime, and grow crystals! Each camper takes home a full set of Mad Science lab gear!

Flight Academy
(Grades 1-5)

Explore the fields of robotics in this amazing hands-on camp. This will be a unique camp experience for the young robot builders! Campers take home awesome daily science projects. Throughout the week, they will complete a robot that they'll keep!

Advanced Robotics
(Grades 3-6)
A robotics camp for the accomplished robot builder! Campers will build their own Robotic Arm throughout the week and take it home at the end of camp! The building of this robot is rather involved, so previous experience and fine motor skills are recommended.

This program features fun-filled, hands-on, secret agent-themed science activities that allow kids to play detective, sharpen their surveillance skills, and crack encrypted messages. Kids become super sleuths! (For children entering grades 2-6)

In this program children will enjoy learning about forensic science. Through fun-filled, hands-on activities, kids will collect, sort and test evidence. Our Schoolhouse Chess camps are devoted to helping kids develop learning and thinking skills by teaching them chess. Our camps include exciting presentations that teach skills used by experts all over the world and chess puzzles that can be played with a partner or solo. Chess has been proven to help with logic, memory, reading, and mathematics.

FAQ
What is a Mad Science camp?
Our camps offer a daily combination of in-class discovery and exploration, as well as hands-on applications of the scientific principles presented. Children learn about STEAM through our interactive and hands-on activities. We operate rain or shine, most of our locations are air conditioned facilities.
+Will all camp sessions run?
The minimum number of campers necessary to hold a camp is generally 10. We always give at least a week's notice if we have to cancel a camp.
+What are your full-day and half-day camp hours?
Our half-day camps are 3 hours long and can run from 9AM to 12PM, 12:30PM to 3:30PM or 1PM to 4PM. We can also work with your schedule and customize the length of our camp sessions, WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING FULL DAY CAMPS for SUMMER 2021. Our full-day camps are 6 hours long and run from 9AM to 3PM.
+What is the camper to instructor ratio?
In general, our camper to instructor ratio is never be greater than 12 to 1 and the average-size camp is about 20 children with 2 instructors.
+Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?
They could be teachers on summer break, or college students pursuing an education or science degree. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of children, have undergone background checks, and have received extensive summer camp specific training. One shared characteristic is that they all love working with children!
+Do you provide a snack?
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A "NUT-FREE" CAMP. Due to food allergies concerns, we do not provide a snack. We have a mid-session break at all locations and always have drinking water available. We encourage you to send a nut-free snack with your child. (NO OUTSIDE FOOD allowed at Kosher facilities-We will provide a suitable snack at those locations)
+Do you have early or late care?
We are offering an hour-long lunch session for campers attending a morning and afternoon camp session. This option is available only at locations with morning and afternoon camps running. An authorized parent or guardian must be at the camp site to assume responsibility for your child at the stated end time of camp.
+What ages are your camps for?
Our camps are available to children entering grades 1-6, but some programs are only available to certain grade ranges. These are noted on the camp schedule.
