NASA and Mad Science collaborate to educate the next generation! Children go on a voyage of discovery with unique hands-on activities, and amazing demonstrations that explore the sun and stars, space technology, rocket science, the atmosphere, planets and moons, and more!

Schoolhouse Chess of Long Island
Schoolhouse Chess is devoted to helping kids develop learning and thinking skills by teaching them chess. Chess has been proven to help with logic, memory, analysis, reading, and mathematics, and has even been shown to improve IQ. We teach chess through exciting presentations for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced chess players.

- Prices vary depending on the program theme, locations, and the program length. Please check out the programs available at your child’s school for more pricing information.
FAQ
What is your refund policy?
A refund will be made to any parent who withdraws a child prior to the first week of the program. A $30.00 processing fee will be applied to all refund requests. Withdrawal after the first week will not receive a refund. Refunds will not be issued for classes missed by the child.
+When do I pay?
Payment is required at the time of registration. Mad Science accepts checks or credit cards (over the phone, on the registration form or through our on-line registration system).
+What is your class cancellation policy?
We will follow the inclement weather and school closure policy of the school district in which we are instructing. We will attempt to schedule a make-up class, provided the cancelled class takes place at least one week before the start of the next program.
